NIDOBA This word is as Maine as the Maine Coon. In the language of the Abnaki indians - from the State of Maine - it means: FRIEND

(And female friend? That is nidoba skwa.)

At NIDOBA, the well being of the group is the main thing. Health and happiness are the priorities. Not the breeding, not the pedigrees. Although, pedigrees are studied insofar as they can give a clue about character and possible health problems.

I am so lucky to live together with 4 of these friends. The menu to the left gives you access to all kinds of information about them: what are they like as pets, as pedigreed cat, and some more information.

Of course you can get more information about the cattery NIDOBA (contact, and other information). Of course I have not forgotten the cats that shared their lives with me. Also there is a page about those wondrous Tortie toms.
